The EA8001 is the world's lightest electric wheelchair, weighing 14.5 kg (16.4 kg with battery).
The lightweight aluminum frame is strong and rustproof. Most ladies can fold it up and carry it into their car.
Despite its light weight, the EA8001 has enough power to stop on slopes and overcome road humps. New, patented, and revolutionary lightweight brushless motors enable this!
The wheelchair also includes an Attendant Control throttle mounted on the push handle, which allows a caregiver to control the wheelchair from behind. This is especially useful for caregivers who are themselves elderly and lack the strength to push the patient over long distances or up a slope.
The EA8001 now includes detachable batteries. This has several benefits:
Each battery has a 125WH rating. Most airlines currently allow two of these batteries on board as carry-on luggage per passenger, without prior approval. This significantly simplifies wheelchair travel. You can also bring four batteries if you travel with someone.
To operate the wheelchair, only one battery is required. Simply switch to the other battery if it runs out. You won't run out of battery by accident, and you can get as many spare batteries as you need.
The battery is charged independently of the wheelchair. You can leave the wheelchair in the car while charging the battery at home.
